Fishy

Hello, I´m here because of the game comment tag hosted by ProjectComment and my tag word was "Relax". I know this is one of your older works, but I wanted to comment on it anyway and I hope this comment can still be a bit helpful to you although you already have improved a lot. I Chose this artwork of yours because a beach is a place where one can totally relax and because I like the motif. The idea to give those two fishes human characteristics is a good one and you implemented the human characteristics very good. Your choice of colours supports the human characteristics. Because of the light blue, the female fish Looks a lot more elegant than the male fish with its orange colour. The female fishes accesoires also look more classy than the male fishs ones which fits to the Impression that she is Kind of a butler or a servant passing the male fish his towel. So well done!

I also like the design of the background. It looks like there is a very high unnormal water-level at the beach, however, because of a not quite right use of perspective. The deck chair also does not fits your chosen perspective for this artwork. I´ve looked at some of your younger works and since you already have improved in drawing the perspective right I will not go deeper into this aspect or give any more improvement suggestions other than keep up improving and looking at references when wanting to draw perspectives. References are always helpful.
